SVCA Flood Warning for the Municipality of Brockton updated due to extensive flooding in Pinkerton

Flood Warning – Municipality of Brockton
Flood Watch – Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, Township of Chatsworth, Municipality of Grey Highlands, Town of Hanover, Township of Howick, Municipality of Morris-Turnberry, Municipality of South Bruce, Township of Huron-Kinloss, Municipality of Kincardine, Town of Minto, Township of Wellington-North, Town of Saugeen Shores, Township of Southgate, Municipality of West Grey.
The Teeswater River is flooding in Pinkerton. Erosion of Bruce County Road 15 in Pinkerton has been observed, and the road could be damaged as a result. Flood conditions could exist for an extended duration as water levels in the Teeswater River remain high.
Residents of Pinkerton are advised to closely monitor conditions and follow direction from municipal and county staff and emergency services. Local municipalities are the first to respond to and assist with flood emergencies. If you experience a flood emergency and are in danger, please call 911.
The Flood Warning message for Silver Creek remains in effect, though conditions are beginning to improve in this area as water levels begin to drop. Residents should continue to monitor conditions closely in this area. Flood Watch remains in effect for rest of Saugeen watershed.
Saugeen Conservation staff will be closely monitoring the situation and will provide an update if conditions change. All current messages will remain in effect until Monday, March 16th, 2026, at 4:30pm unless updated otherwise.
