Varney Conservation Area Swimming Area Photo

Varney Conservation Area is a perfect stop for a picnic or just to stretch your legs while traveling.  It is a regular stop-over for visitors making their way to cottage country.

 

This area is swim at your own risk, and there are no staff onsite. The pond has been a popular swimming hole for generations!

  • Varney Conservation Area is located off Highway 6. It is south of the town of Durham in the hamlet of Varney.

There are no fishing opportunities at this property.

Hunting 
  • Hunting is NOT permitted at Varney Conservation Area.

  • There is a $5.00 parking fee to access Allan Park.
