It’s that time of year again! The weather is warming , the days are growing longer and you may find yourself dreaming of a new building project – a new house, workshop, or maybe even that pool you’ve been saving up for.
If you are in a SVCA regulated area, please know, SVCA staff are excited to help you with your project!

The Flood Outlook statement issued last Thursday will be extended into this week. Forecast rainfall, warmer temperatures, and the associated snowmelt will result in further elevation of water levels across the watershed over the next few days and increase the potential for ice jams.

Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook (2022/02/17)
Recent rainfall, warmer temperatures, and the associated snowmelt will result in elevated water levels across the watershed over the next few days, with a potential for ice jams.
A low-pressure system tracked through the region yesterday bringing rain and strong winds. Rainfall amounts ranging from 15 to 35 mm were recorded throughout the watershed, with heaviest rainfall observed in the east end.
