Saugeen Conservation advises that a Flood Outlook has been issued for the Municipality of West Grey due to the potential for frazil ice production in the Main Saugeen River. The Watershed Condition Statement – Water Safety issued previously remains in place for all other municipalities and will expire on Wednesday, January 14th at 9:00 am
Saugeen Conservation advises that warm temperatures combined with rain over the next several days are expected to increase water levels and create the potential for ice breakup throughout the watershed.
Saugeen Conservation advises that forecasted rainfall, combined with daytime temperatures climbing into the mid-single digits and associated snowmelt, will lead to higher-than-normal water levels across the watershed over the coming days.
