Flood Waters and You

Floodwise Disguise picture

Flood Waters and You is a student safety program for Saugeen watershed elementary students presented in March and April. 

Programs vary to suit your class schedule and the age and number of participants.

The presentations teach students about dangers of flood waters and hypothermia. Using a multi-media approach with hands-on experiments, students will learn the following:

  • How a flood develops
  • Risk of increased river flows
  • Related flood safety measures
