Water Quality Monitoring

Collecting and analyzing local environmental data has been a focus of Saugeen Conservation since inception.

Monitoring water quality can help us understand the impacts of land-use activities. SVCA actively monitors surface water quality, groundwater quality and quantity, and benthic macroinvertebrate populations across all 10 sub-watersheds.
