McBeath Conservation Area offers visitors a variety of recreational activities. This area is accessible by water only, and has a small back country camping area with 15 sites.
For those who like to canoe, McBeath has no public vehicle access. It is accessible by water only.

- It is about 40 minutes downstream from Access Point #8.

- Hunting is not permitted inside our Conservation Areas. It may occur in Managed Forests attached to them.

- McBeath is a 55 ha (135 acre) parcel of land purchased in 1854 by the McBeath family as a homestead.
- We valued this land for its river front (1830 metres) and purchased it for a place for river users to camp, stop or rest.
- After we bought this land we cleared some of it of all invading shrub. We also seeded it into grass species for pasture.
- The property contains a mixed hardwood forest. Before we bought the land, it was pasture land.
- The Boy Scouts of Canada planted this area in the late 1970s. It was part of their tree planting program.
- McBeath is a Conservation Area and Managed Forest.
