What Is Day-Use?

Day-use refers to short-term recreational access to Saugeen Conservation areas between dawn and dusk. These hours are set in accordance with Ontario Regulation 688/21, which states that no person shall enter or remain in a conservation area during posted closure times. SVCA day-use areas are open daily from sunrise until sunset and are intended for passive activities such as hiking, picnicking, and bird watching.  Permitted uses are posted on each property.  Equestrian usage is not included in day-use membership access.

Visitors who wish to stay overnight must reserve a designated campsite and purchase a camping permit. Camping is only permitted in specific SVCA campgrounds. To learn more or book a site, please visit www.saugeenconservation.ca/camp
