Low Water Advisories

• Monthly rainfall amounts are less than 80% of the historical averages and/or;
• Streamflows are less than 70% of the lowest average summer flow.

Water users are encouraged to voluntarily reduce water consumption by 10%. 

• Monthly rainfall amounts are less than 60% of the historical averages and/or;
• Streamflows are less than 50% of the lowest average summer flow.

• Conservation and restrictions on non-essential use.
• Water users will be asked to reduce water usage by 20% or greater. 

• Monthly rainfall amounts are less than 40% of the historical averages and/or;
• Streamflows are less than 30% of the lowest average summer flow. 

The key focus is on regulation and enforcement by the Province.
